A note from us.
We're parents too. We know what it feels like to hand over a screen and hope for the best. Here's how we try to make Down To Zero a place you can comfortably leave on.
No on-camera children
Reuel's voice and hands appear in episodes. His face does not. We don't share his school, neighborhood, or any identifying details — and we'll never ask kids to share theirs.
Made for Kids, COPPA compliant
The channel is flagged "Made for Kids" on YouTube, which means no comments, no personalized ads, and no data collection from kid viewers. Standard contextual ads only.
No frantic edits or manipulative thumbnails
We won't use rapid-fire jump cuts, bait-and-switch thumbnails, or emotional manipulation to drive watch time. The dominoes are interesting enough.
Parent-reviewed before publish
Every episode is watched start to finish by a parent before it goes live. If anything feels off, it doesn't ship.
No paid product placement
We may use specific brands of dominoes or blocks because they're what we own. We are not paid by them. Any future sponsorships will be disclosed clearly.
Easy to reach a real person
If you have a question, a concern, or a great idea, write to hello@downtozero.tv. A parent reads every email.
Questions? Ideas? Concerns?
Email us anytime. A real person — usually a parent, sometimes Reuel — will write back.
